The creator of the show, Marsha Florence, stumbled upon the title “Just Ask” when she was explaining to a close friend her frustration regarding other people’s inability to address their concerns and questions about her disability when all they had to do was “Just Ask!”

Marsha felt there was no need to guess about a person’s disability, when you can “Just Ask!” them! Her simple, yet insightful response was transformed into the title and solidified the theme of the program.

Over the past several years, “Just Ask” has successfully worked with and interviewed Over the past 20 years “Just Ask” has interviewed over 500 organizations throughout the state of Michigan that support and provide services for individuals, families and caregivers in the area of health, education, technology, finance, legal rights and The Americans with Disabilities Act.

Marsha felt there was no need to guess about a person’s disability, when you can “Just Ask!” them!

The original title for the show was “We Want to Know.” (WWTK). This title was considered too long and perhaps too difficult to remember.
So, the search for a new title began!
