Taking classes together can be fun as well and teaches you about each other’s hobbies and passions. Many older Americans choose to stay employed, even when they don’t necessarily have to. Starting a business together can be a great project that keeps you both involved and spending time together while providing some extra funds. There are many ideas that make great businesses, such as selling arts and crafts, freelancing, or opening a retail store. No matter which you choose, consider setting up an LLC to limit your personal liability and provide tax advantages. Be sure to find out the specific laws in your state.
When marketing your business, consider placing emphasis on your couple’s status. Use both of your names in the business name, and have fun with it.
